Growing rosemary is fun and easy on a sunny, warm spot in well draining soil, making sure to bring your plant indoors before the frost starts.

If you only have a limited time and a limited space for gardening, make sure to add rosemary to your limited amount of plants. It is your ideal plant to grow in containers on your deck of patio, all it needs is a warm, dry, sunny spot. You can even get way when once in a while you forget to water it. Once temperatures go direction zero C in autumn, you can easily transport the whole pot indoors: rosemary will surely not survive temperatures lower than -10C or 15F. To be on the safe side, don't let your plant outside in the frost.

Every healthy pineapple plant should flower once and carry one fruit. Like with a banana tree: once the fruit is harvested, the mother plant will die. However at the side of the mother plant, new pineapple plants will have emerged already for a future crop.
